Here's an interesting/nice little story and because it involves me I'll relate it here. Sunday I started off with a table of seven people, a family, which included a woman celebrating her 92nd birthday. It was an easy table, considering at the time it was basically my only table. Anyway, they had dessert and all that, and had a $200+ check. They left 20%, which I was happy with and blah blah blah.... I went into work tonight to help out as someone is injured. Carolyn told me that the son who paid called her earlier and told her how impressed he was with me, thought I did a great job, and then gave her his card number so that he could charge another $25 tip for me. Well, smack my face and call me Betty! I guess not everyone does suck.... though I still think most do, just not everyone.
